this is an au whose details I've fully built up in my mind but couldn't write fic for yet, please imagine that the story ticks of the bingo boxes of "roommates", "wound tending", and maybe an extreme interpretation of "sports au".

just kidding. kind of. in this au megumi's family has a generational contract with the darkness devil, and members occasionally get access to what I'm calling shadow puppets (shikigami). yuuji is a hybrid (I had a tough time deciding what devil sukuna was, but settled on the concept of self), whose execution is temporarily suspended so that he can contribute to research on the self devil.

maybe I'll get around to writing this au forreal forreal. I have so many ideas!
