Okay. So I wasn't able to tell you guys that I was going to be at a frisbee tournament this weekend.

It was awesome. My oh my oh my. I have so many bruises and scrapes. :D

Our team played good seeing as how this was our second game ever playing as a team in a tourney. We only had 5 girl on the team and I think maybe 8 guys... The games were played with having 3 girls and 4 guys on the field... So us girls had to play a lot!

Well, unfortunately I had to sit out on more points than I would have liked to because of my feet:/ But I definitely was out there a lot (more than I should have been because of my feet).

So my knees are a bloody mess... Literally there was blood dripping down my legs from my knees after one lay out. I little tiny scrapes all up my arm. I have a decent scrape on my shoulder and side. I feel like I have tiny scratches along my back too because when I showered it burned really bad. I have 7 blisters on my feet. My ankle is messed up. And of course the infamous foot problem... They're not as bad as they usually are, but they are by no means okay. Also I'm sunburned:( I even put sun screen on. I have a sport's bra tan line somehow. I guess the times I'd take my shirt off and would be in my sport's bra was enough to make me tan. I have a cute little tan line on my arm from the band I had there and then from the braces I had on my feet.

I had a really good weekend, guys. Except when I could head my friends having sex in the shower... That was awkward......

SO MANY CUTE GUYS AT THE TOURNAMENT! OH GOD! CAN I PLEASE HAVE THEM ALL?!

Ultimare: An Overview

I've always described Ultimare as being 'the bastard child of Naboo and Coruscant", meaning a city-wide planet with old-world style buildings.  The more I give it thought, the less I think this type of planet fits with the type of species the Ultimarians are meant to be.  I've sketched out the planet and have even named all the sectors but I've only roughed out where a lot of things are.

I think that Ultimare, while full of large cities and is a hub for trade and politics, should also have large open fields and a few forests that dot the landscape.  If I'm still running comparisons to the Star Wars Universe, the best way to describe it would be mostly like Corellia with bits and pieces of Naboo and Alderaan (pre-destruction) thrown in.

While I don't have a lot of specific locations on the planet finalized, there are a few.

*  Trides - Ultimare's capitol.  It's a massive city almost twice the size of New York City.  While Trides contains towering skyscrapers, large portions of the city have old-world style buildings like those found in Venice or Paris.  The Imperial palace is the focal point of the city, other places of interest include Adbane Park (a central-park like place in the middle of the city), Tanbura Row (a famous shopping district), and Embassy Street.

* The Imperial Gardens - Located directly outside the Imperial Palace, this private garden is the Emperor's place to meditate and think.

*  The Alderia Sector - The sector located next to the Akrian Sector, which houses Trides.  The Alderia sector once rivaled Akrian with it's beauty and massive cityscapes.  This beauty has long since faded as the Alderia Sector was mostly destroyed at the beginning of the war.  All that remains now are mostly broken down slums overrun with criminal activity.

*  The Jochheon Sector - A highly industrialized sector of Ultimare.  It is famous for manufacturing mechanical parts, sort of like Detroit in its prime.

*  The Diamond Heights - Located in the southeastern portions of the Akrian sector that are untouched by city.  Large mesa-like formations rise up from the landscape with crystal clear waterfalls running off of them.

Emotion and Devotion

Shae sighed deeply as he slid his shirt off, his military dogtags swinging softly from his neck, twirling and creating a faint metallic ping. His heart was heavy for this was his last night at home. In the morning he was to be deployed to that god-awful backwater planet and he didn't know when he'd be back... or if he'd even survive to come back at all. The worst of it was, that his sense of morality was tugging at his soul. He wasn't sure if he agreed with this mission and he certainly didn't believe in the cause enough to die for it, but his superiors demand that this mission be carried out and he wasn't in a position to argue. But for tonight, he wasn't going to worry about this. He glanced at the auburn haired beauty that stood mostly naked, not more then two feet away from him. He felt his essence swell with emotion for she was the love of his life and in his opinion she had never looked more beautiful. He wrapped his arms around her slender form and pressed his lips against her neck, inhaling the intoxicating scent of her hair as he did so. He was going to make sure that tonight would be about expressing their love. It would be a night of heaven... that would end at sunrise when he'd be shipped off to hell! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Yah... I was actually supposed to be studying for my French test on Monday, but ended up doing this instead. Yay procrastination! Go me! I may not draw porn and adult scenes... but I am a bit of a romantic and do enjoy drawing sensuality and love scenes... especially then the two involved are deeply in love like Shae and Estdra here. I mainly did this picture because I wanted to get Shae's girlfriend out on paper. And it was also good practice for more complex backgrounds... and friggity frack did that background take forever! In any case, I'm pleased that I actually got a good bit of the Ultimarian homeworld in the background so the world can now see what I've had in my head. Ultimare is best described as being the cross between Coruscant and Naboo from the Star Wars Universe. The planet's surface is mostly city, but there's a lot of wide open fields and parks. A lot of the buildings have a certain "old world charm". The nights on Ultimare aren't pitch black like they are on earth. The planet is nestled in the edge of a blue nebula, so light often reflects from the nebula, making the night sky light up a little. Anyways, I'd like to do "couple" pictures like this for some of the other Ultimarian couples in my stories. Particularly Aredon/Alora and Dom/Raevynn.
