Masters of the Universe issue #3, Classics mini-comics, 2011
(This one was a nightmare on account of all the 2-page spreads.)
Adora, what is this pose?
This panel is so fucking funny to me!
Here we have King Hiss waiting for the Faceless One to realize he's there, and while he waits, he's examining the artifacts in the library of Zalesia.
One of the things in that library is this tapestry:
Which somewhat blurrily depicts one of the Ultimate Battle Grounds. You can clearly identify Eldor and He-Ro (the First) fighting against King Hiss, a Snakeman that looks like General Rattlor, and... I forget the ogre's name at the moment, but they're also an identifiable character. And they're fighting in front of the Three Towers.
It's an amazing tapestry with some crazy detail for a needle-art and depicts what we (the viewer) know as the canon facts.
And Hiss has only one thing to say about this piece of incredibly detailed art:
Typical human propaganda!
