My King Miro example
Love the fact that Eternia's nobility is probably so mad at the fact that Miro has a half Gar son who he accepted as part of the royal family. Randor fell in love, married, and had children with an alien instead of a noble. To top it all off, a version of Adora is gay for an Etherian and has a kid with her and Adam and Teela decide to adopt a feral child they found and make him their heir instead.
I had this musing for an AU for Prince Keldor where he has Henry VIII type problems like the wife gives birth to like, four daughters, and King Miro just gives up waiting and makes Randor his successor.
Stuff like this occurs to me because I'm really interested in how tweaking a variable or two affects subsequent happenings like ripples in a pond.
Does Keldor turn into an abusive tyrant like Henry VIII before vanishing to become Skeletor or does he remain kind to his wife until he disappears?
Just stuff I think about when I'm bored.

The name "Keldor" is not used because the name had not been created yet, but the basic character concept is there. Skeletor was the son of the previous King from one of the King's multiple wives.
Skeletor used to be a handsome, normal looking human, just like He-Man. He plotted to take over the Castle from the king, but he was thrown in the the Well of Souls. In the Well the creatures and animals ripped all the skin off his face and make him aware of magic the hard way.
Honestly, all of this was better than the shit-arc DC comics gave Skeletor's mother.
