Description: You got a text from your boyfriend Vernon to meet him at the park you two frequently visit. You arrive there and he is no where to be seen. You figure that he just isn’t here yet so you go over to the swing set. You are about to take a seat when a sweet little girl comes up to you.
“Excuse me miss, are you y/n?” she asks with a huge smile.
You look at her for a second and whisper a soft yes.
“Great! You boyfriend wanted me to give this to you!” she says handing you and envelope before she runs always.
Confused you rip open the envelope and pull out the letter that’s inside. It reads
To the most beautiful girl in my life. You have given me so much in these last couple of months. Joy, sincerity, comfort, love, and so much more. I want to repay you with a few things for all the millions you’ve given to me. Go to the spot where we first held hands to find your first gift.
You feel a blush creep up onto your cheeks as you fold up the piece of paper and head over to your favorite bench. Once you get there you see a mixtape taped to the back of it. You pull it off and read the attached note.
Joy. Every moment I spend with you, you give me so much joy. The moment I first held your hand I knew I never wanted to let it go. You can feel your throat closing as you walk to the final destination.
“How did you get a boyfriend like him?” you ask yourself.
You make it to the beautiful fountain in the center of the park. You make a complete circle around it but don’t see anything. Confused, you’re about to make another trip around when someone clears their throat behind you. You turn around and see Vernon with a huge smile on his lips. He looks you up and down before stepping closer to you.
“Love. You give me more love than I ever thought I could ever hold. You are the most beautiful girl in the world and I don’t know how I got so lucky. I want to love you for as long as I can,” Vernon says this while going behind you and moving your hair. He puts a necklace around your neck and clasps it. You pull it out and look at the small heart pendant on it.
“Let this necklace symbolizes our love. As long as you have this heart, you will know that you also have my heart,” he says while coming to face you.
You feel a tear slip down your cheek and Vernon wipes it with his thumb.
“I love you so much y/n,” Vernon says smiling.
“I love you too,” you reply.
