Samsung Ultimate Test Drive
So the time has come and gone. 30 days sure went by fast and I learned to appreciate what Samsung has to offer. Although the trial wasn’t enough to get me to switch, I can now at least know both worlds. While I’m sure there are other great Android devices out on the market non will come close in comparison to my iPhone that I hold dear. The Galaxy Note 5 was a great substitute for the time I had it. I came away happy in knowing there are other phones out there that can capture a little bit of what people like. At the end of the day it will always come down to personal preference.
I will never be the person that hates Android and all that is stands for. At the end of the day everyone is out to make money and will try and hit the market with what they feel will sell. Neither side will be great at everything but both will always offer something better than the other.
At the end of the day it comes down to what I have been invested in and for me that is iOS. All the apps I’ve bought and all the music I own not to mention how the user interface works, will make a switch difficult. By the time my installment plan is up next year it will be time for the iPhone 7 Plus (or whatever it’s called) and I’ll be ready to upgrade to that.
For new users or people wanting to switch I would recommend you do some research on the device you are wanting to get. People’s opinion matter but at the end of the day you are the one who has to be comfortable with the device. In my opinion a novice user will struggle with Android and getting the settings/bloatware running correctly so it doesn’t hinder their overall experience. It took me a couple of weeks to get the Note 5 running smooth and the way I wanted it to.
Thank you Samsung for letting me try out your device, I’m not ready to make a switch, maybe one day we will cross paths again.
