Day 1
Anyone who knows me can tell you I’m an Apple fanatic. From the moment I saw the unveiling of the iPhone I was enamored by what it was put out to do. Did Apple create the first smartphone? No, but it was the first time I started to pay attention to a market that would soon get swamped with device after device every 6 months by someone trying to get a piece of the pie. Now fast forward 8 years, Samsung has really elevated their phone’s and even the quality. Of course I got a little curious, who hasn’t?
I wanted to see what the hype was about so low and behold, Samsung announces in August they will let iPhone users test drive their current model phones in a way to maybe tempt them to jump ship. Originally I was not able to be one of the lucky few to get a device due to them getting flooded by request and not really being ale to control or check which person had an iPhone and which person did not. So I was placed on a waiting list, one month went by and I paid no attention. By the time month two came up I was surprised to finally get my email letting me know my Galaxy Note 5 was ready to go!
Now I consider myself a tech connoisseur, always wanting to read about the new technologies out there or even before they hit the market. As soon as I powered up my Note 5, I could see the clarity and sharpness of the screen. Yes the Retina HD on the iPhone is great but when it comes to the Super AMOLED & 518ppi pixel density, there was no competition! My eyes came to appreciate the color saturation and how crisp black and colors are.
There are already things I like about the Note 5 that my iPhone 6 Plus doesn’t have but I will wait and post a new blog after I have had my device for a week. I have 30 days with this Galaxy phone and I intend on making the most of it.
