It’s hard to believe it’s only been a short 18 months that I’ve been entrenched in the ninja world. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these amazing athletes in various cities, coast to coast, in the United States and I can happily report that the ninja community is full of the most sincere and positive group of athletes, fans, and friends that I’ve been proud to be a part of.⠀ •⠀ Over the next several posts, I’ll be featuring photos from the Ultimate Backyard Warrior ninja competition that I get to photograph twice a year every year. This past Labor Day competition was so much fun.⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ The dedication and training of these ninja athletes is incredible. Since I’ve come on the scene, I’ve gotten to witness RJ Roman’s rise within the sport of ninja. At the Atlanta tapings this season, my family got to attend in the stands while I worked. On one of my breaks, I got to watch with them and when RJ came up, I told my family, “Watch THIS guy!” He proceeded to torch the Atlanta qualifier course. Awesome dude on and off the obstacles. Here’s RJ planning his next move on the wind chimes on the back half of the Stage 1 course.⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ If you’d like to see more photos from this competition, feel free to contact me directly.⠀ • ⠀ @rjroams @emunessband @ubwfit @ubwmikecook #ultimatebackyardwarrior #ubw #ubwfit #americanninjawarrior #anw #anw11 #obstaclecourseracing #ocr #ninja #ninjafam #fitfam #fitspo #professionalphotographer #eventphotographer #sportsphotographer #ninjaphotographer @photosbyjohncachero (at Ultimate Backyard Warrior) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2WQ0CbhgH4/?igshid=bnrnjwcrr1xt
