Honestly Ben is such an icon. Him AND Robbie are some of the best "background characters" in Spider-Man universe. ALSO USM has some of the best fucking Daily Bugle stories I've ever read but I might be biased. I just love that DB and their employers are more than just passing characters, they're actively participating in the story and the take on Peter being the IT guy at the DB just makes SO. MUCH. SENSE. (His photos were SO unconvincing tho, lmao. Like how did they not notice those are selfies. I CAN'T)
Also don't get me started on the relationship between JJJ and Peter. Their banter is just! It's the perfect blend of "Yeah I care about this kid" and "I only care about myself". There's this one fragment where Jameson jumps Peter about him taking a "break" and Peter just jokes, and explains how his computer's rebooting. LIKE, idk, I just love USM Daily Bugle so much. Sue Me.

First update of the year...and it’s not a plot update ^^; (spoiler; the next update won’t be really either...) But I was hit with inspiration to do this up, so I saved it for a filler piece.
I like the Ultimate designs, and some of the character dynamics are intriguing, I just don’t have the time to develop a full plot for this universe. So just check out the details I do have already.
