Hi,
I know it’s been some time since I’ve posted an update. In fact it’s been at least two years since I updated ‘Ultimatum’ and five years for ‘If Things Were Different’. I’m aware I’ve been really radio silent on both the Dual Legacies blog and Discord server; I’ve actually been absent from posting anything on social media for a while due to a lot of things that are happening in my life. So, after some time and reflection, I decided to give a proper update on everything thus far.
To start in regards to the two fanfics: It’s with a heavy heart I will no longer be updating ‘If Things Were Different’. My Hero Academia, while having a special place in my heart, hasn’t been my main interest nor focus for some time. Even when I want to go back to finish anything in relation to any of the newer chapters that I originally had planned, I don’t have that passion anymore to continue them. As for ‘Ultimatum’, I will be pushing to finish given I only need two more chapters to write and that will be it. When they will be released will be based on my own time, but I want to thank everyone that has followed me this far. I will post an update on AO3 so readers know.
For the state of the blog, it will now be an archive of everything relating to the series. It will only update when the last chapters of ‘Ultimatum’ drop, but after that feel free to look back at my silly doodles of the characters you have come to love. As for the Discord it will be closed effective March 15.
Once again, I want to thank everyone who has been with me on this wonderful journey and got me this far. I won't forget the memories I've made since making the series and they will always have a special place in my heart. I will say I will be okay someday, just not today. Regardless, I hope everyone has a brighter tomorrow.
