Takemikazuchi probably shouldn’t have been cursing as much as he was, but after three nights with no sleep and absolutely no breakthroughs on his new project, his patience had reached its limit. Surpassed it, even, oddly colored eyes flashing with outright anger as he glared down at the pile of ash that had once been a makeshift workbench.
“This seal keeps fucking up, or not working with the others, and I can’t figure out why.”
It wasn’t the first failed project of his, nor was it the first time his little…Experiments had malfunctioned like this, but damn if it wasn’t aggravating.
Well, so much for the emergency she was expecting. As a medic, Reika always connotes screaming to some kind of emergency where her skills could come in handy, but...this doesn’t seem to be the sort of situation she’s needed for.
She heaves a sigh, having been a bit out of breath hurrying to find whoever was making the racket. Well...as frustrating as it might be to come up empty handed, in a way she’s also glad no one’s hurt.
...at least not yet, given this one’s frustration.
Arms fold, perking a brow as she observes his...well, she’d call it a workplace, but there doesn’t appear to be much of what he was working on left. “...well, given my limited field of expertise, I might not be of much help, but...what precisely were you doing out here?” There just might be the off chance she could lend a hint or observation to help this one get back on track while she’s here.
Glancing then to the person in question, she proffers a forward hand. “Suigin Reika. Traveling iryō-nin, at your service. I heard your commotion and thought you could use a hand.”
