Could Harry Potter Constraction Work?

So with the return of Harry Potter, and still no news for the future of constraction sets. Could the Harry Potter theme work of having contraction.

The heads are very much likely to be like the Star Wars constraction heads of being ugly and just won’t work. Unless they could try to make the head more cartoon like.

If the first wave would have the 3 main character (Harry, Ron and Hermione), they would be having different clothes instead of the Hogwarts uniform, because it will feel like getting three of the same set just with different head (if they choose to use the uniform for the figures).

So uniform is definitely not a good idea for a whole wave, having the uniform being once a year would be a lot better.

Very likely that there’ll be a new body shell to make the characters, because the Stormtrooper (like with the characters who aren’t wearing Trooper armor in SW construction) would look extremely odd.

And just like the Trooper Armor, a new shell is also very likely to only have one connection. There would also be another new shell for the 2.0 size torso, for younger characters.

As for the wand and brooms; a new mould or shorter version of the construction lightsaber piece is needed at all for the wand, they could easily be made in different ways with existing LEGO elements, the same can go with the broom of using technic parts, and the brush part of the broom could easily be the bush piece (52208 and could return piece 6065).

There isn’t much else to add to this, so could it work as a constraction line?

My answer is no, there isn’t a lot that could be done to make Harry Potter into a long running constraction line, having it to be a one time thing with only the 3 main character is a maybe, but that’s a long shot.

Could Elves Constraction Work

Continuing from the “could Nexo Knights and Ninjago having construction set work”. For the heck of it, could LEGO…    Elves having constraction sets work?

Well that answer would be no, that thing would be a big train wreck. But let’s dabble of how they would look like and how Elves construction would work.

Now I know little about the theme besides from the boring Netflix show. And from what I can see from it and the sets, only the human girl has a weapon, while the others use magic. So how would function and/or gimmicks would be implemented, while the human has a function?

Well actually, airhead could use that boomerang, which would be something to see Pohato weapon get a interesting recolor. So there are two things; either one of the waves the elves get weapons, or the thornax launcher makes a big hello with being trans to fit with the elves element. Other than that, there isn’t much I could think of, besides from those two.

As with the design of the figures, since they are minidolls, they would be the size of Breakout Rocka. So they would have the $10 pocket money price or $2 more.

The torso would be a much shorter version of this female body armor. With basically 3 or 4 of them having cloth pieces around the waist, and the human would have a necklace using system pieces to make it.

But with the limbs, the normal bone on shell with the Ultrabuild system would look horrible with these as skin. What would help are new limb pieces that are a single piece, but with at least 2 connectors on the back or one side of it, with the pieces for the upper leg and arms having 2 pin holes. Basically it’s an upgraded version of the Ben 10 limbs.

It would help not make the limbs look clunky and ugly, and much better to look at, however the connection of the limbs would be a problem that sadly can’t be fix.

Oh, also there would need to be new feet because the clown feet would not work, especially since they have been outdated sense breakout. Maybe it could work with the human and tree elf, but not for the other 3, the feet have to be more, human like with toes and can be printed.

Now the head, like with my idea of a new head for Ninjago and Nexo Knights, Elves would have the same thing; but with the minidoll. Sense the printed face would have a much better look than the modeled face. The hair and elf ears would be separate pieces, to give an option changing hairs and ears; they would even be compatible with the big minifigure head like with the normal size of minifigs & minidolls.

So that’s what my idea for how a Elves construction would work; something like that would not happen. It would be like Ninjago, it would just feel the same every year and could only just be a 1 time thing.

So while I couldn’t give two flying studs about Disney’s attempt to milk on a franchise which to be honest was milked before Disney even bought it…

These guys from Lego’s next ultrabuild series might just have some interesting parts. Here’s a quick Obi from Clone Wars.

I included a simple function that allows him to hold the lightsaber on his back.
