i never see many demon ocs but this was funilicious to design. theyre honestly just a lesser demon version of the minotaur

im just House of Leaves brained so to me the minotaur is something that torments someone who's metaphorically haunted—usually by a sort of resentment towards themselves. among other things
the mannequins already grow over husks in Hell, i just interpreted it to be like an overnight thing once the sinner falls asleep. so i figured for slightly different torment, what if instead the Hell Shell formation process was slower? you could watch your own body be malformed and harder to control. you dont get surprised by the sudden growth, no, you watch it grow over you over time. you try to fight it, you keep moving as much as possible to crack the stone at your joints, but it just grows back over time. you watch yourself become a monster, no matter how hard you fight, until you give up and lie down and can't move your legs anymore.
i figured that the head and legs are the final parts of the shell to form; the head forms around the head, and the husk spends so long hiding their face that their arm becomes fused in place by the shell. then the hooved feet actually form from the shell shaping the bones inside the legs, making it difficult to walk. once the new legs are completely formed, the sinner can only continue moving if they pull their bones out of their now-useless flesh. theyre finally free to move, but are even more misshapen. even more monster. their limp flesh trails behind them as they shamble on.
like Minos, barbed wire grows over these husks. it keeps them less mobile and easier for Hell to grow on. genetic!
these things do have autonomy, but is it worth anything if their fate can't be changed?
