I realized this morning that once I’m done with my ultrasound program this will be the first job where I can do what I want. My small human isn’t so small anymore and doesn’t need me home all the time. So if I want to take a job that requires a week or so out of town or a weird schedule, I can take it. Since he was three and I went back to work, I’ve made sure my jobs worked around his school and daycare schedule. I made sure that even if I had help, I’d still be able to take care of him because as good as his Dad(seriously a very good guy, we are great coparents too!)and Step Dad(such a good Husband and Dad too!) are, in the end I only rely on myself when it comes to my child. I’m so excited!! Knowing I can make moves that are more for me than anyone else is amazing!! I love being a Mother. And going through this program was absolutely for my family too but I just realized how much it was for me as well ❤️
