"Hi." Edward stepped in through the front door, arms full of grocery bags. he preferred to only make one trip up and down those apartment stairs, he wasn't in the greatest of shape, although that meant that each arm had to be loaded up with four to five bags; but it wasn't so bad. gertrude was one of his favorite people that he delivered to. her son was always kind to him too.
with a slight grunt, edward raised both arms in one heave and rested everything up on the counter. hoo. he let out a huff, and now with his hands free, he could pause the loud metal music that was blaring through the noise-cancelling headphones that were askew on his head. "Okay, they- uh. They um... I had to get a different brand of the, uh, the flour your mom always gets. Hopefully it's fine- I can't imagine there's um... Much of a difference." edward cleared his throat and bumped his glasses up the bridge of his nose after pulling his arms out of the bags handles. "How is she? She told me last week she was feeling a bit under the weather."
