i just learned that there is a “best vocaloid culture songs” category in the annual music awards japan (which only began 2 years ago)!
and!!! anyone who has a niconicodouga account can vote!! and you get one vote every day until voting ends on april 8th (might be april 7th in the western hemisphere)!! :D
theres a lot of nominated vocaloid songs for this category, but a few that stand out to me are “a spoonful of spell” by r-906, “wasure mono” and “sound only ex” by iyowa, and “1pc” and “there is a you that i dont know yet” by sheeno mirin, among many others. but unfortunately there’s a couple of gross songs and producers that were nominated too… :/ i’ll be splitting my daily votes between a spoonful of spell and sheeno mirin songs, i think!
