The unaabe are the indigenous race of Undairimsh, the large moon on which they live. They are a species of mammal-esque frog-like mushroom-folk that populated much of the surface and underground of the planetoid for millennia. Most of the unaabe are now modernized and acculturated to the colonizer way of life, though recent movements to celebrate the old way have seen recent and wide-reaching support.

Here is some of the traditional regalia designed for Felix by Tealix, which were inspired in part by their own regalia. They drew from their own experience as an east coast indigenous person to write Felix’s character and to design the custom species. The clothes above are made from a fibrous substance derived from local flora. They incorporate preserved flowers, leaves, and wooden or clay beads, as well as semi-precious stones and metals as decoration.

Betrothal Flowers by Tealix

They’re in love, your honor.

Thoonists, when marrying outsiders, will adopt the marital traditions of their partner’s culture. Here we can see a tender moment of Felix bestowing Thoon and Auzzimaks with ceremonial flowers, which announce to the tribe (and the world) their intentions to be wed.

The Throuple are truly, deeply in love. Our goal is to write a sincere queer romance that weaves into the overall plot and world building. We hope the pieces with them together capture these things.

The Alchemy Blunderbuss uses "essences" to imbue bullets with different damage types, even slashing and bludgeoning! The ascended version does much of the same, but is "upgraded" so to speak.

Sometimes members of the throuple go on solo dates together. Their schedules don’t always line up and it’s important to get quality time one on one when you can. Thoon and Felix do a lot of "experience" dates when they pair off and do their thing. Making memories and seeing the sights. Very romantic.
