Hollow knight ocs! I’m not sure if any of this is consistent with canon but I try my best to fit them in. I haven’t thought too much on backstory but here’s what I have so far: Barnett is a death’s head roach who snuck into the Abyss out of curiosity and has since then been fascinated by the shade siblings. He studied them and soon became a familiar face among them, acting as a guardian.

Unaavo is a death’s head moth who broke off from the moth tribe in defiance of the Radiance and instead became a devout follower of Herrah of deepest. She originally hailed from Kingdom’s Edge and set off on a journey to see Herrah, only knowing that she looked like. Smart, witty, and tough, she made her way to the Ancient Basin but then became intrigued by the Abyss that lie below. Something about it drew her there, but a deathly fall from the top had her plummeting towards the void. Barnett, who saw her fall, rescued her, but not before she was consumed by the void and transformed into a great beast. Barnett took care of her, but Unaavo was never the same. Arrow is a greatly deformed vessel that was born tall and misshapen. They can harness the power of the void to shoot arrows and transform their arms into deadly whips. They are something of an enigma; silent, stoic, and often cold hearted but protective of the other two.

The three of them have since escaped the abyss long after Pale King’s disappearance and have since then been wanderers, in search of something.
