Avery raised his hand to knock on the door to Zyra’s villa, hesitated, and didn’t knock. He took out his phone and used the camera to check his face and his smile. Since Avery got back from a few voyages, him and Zyra hadn’t exactly hung out. They’d had some business to discuss with their fellow crew mates and crossed paths several times at the canteen, but never anything like... showing up at her house to help out.

Jack was trying to reach for something way too high in his closet when he called to Zyra for help. It was too little too late though when she walked through the door and he fell, closing the door as well so they were trapped in the small closet. “Uh, Zy.” He remarked, his eyes widening slightly at the realization. “I don’t know if this door works from the inside out. What if we’re stuck in here forever? With no food and everyone forgets about us and we die?”

Possibly the only thing worse than being dressed as a fake pirate at a party full of actual pirates was losing track of the one pirate that could have at least explained the rationale behind the eye-patch and the fake bird attached to his collar. But, on the plus side, he did have a strong fruity beverage in each hand with the potential for refills in his future. The party was one for one at this point. Until he saw his sister. He frowned.
That was the main problem with small town (island, whatever) living. He couldn’t go to a single party without potentially running into his own sister. Weird. Still, he tried to appear unaffected by this which was not so hard since he was already pretending to be unaffected by the whole fight to the death debacle. He walked over to her, and threw his arm around Maia’s shoulder while being extra careful not to spill either of his drinks. Wordlessly he brought one of the straws to his mouth, poking himself in a face a couple times as he tried to get his lips around it.

They’d been swinging in the hammock, talking about life and shit, things he usually only spoke with his closest friends about. It was peaceful and nice, Henry was already half asleep as Zyra’s sentence trailed off halfway through. Laughing to himself, he glanced over to see her half asleep. Moving to his side in an attempt to get comfortable, Henry closed his eyes, deciding to get some sleep as well.
