Do. Not. Let. Hilda. Cook. For. You.
It will not be good. She cannot do it. It’s not even just that she does not want to, she just does not know how at all. There had never been a reason for her to need to learn having grown up as a noble and she has no desire to learn. If asked to cook something, she will make a peanut butter sandwich. No jelly. Just bread and peanut butter.
1, 6, 8, 14?
This is a belated answer to the modern AU ask set I reblogged a few days ago.
1. muse’s opinions on the following things: ugg boots, electric scooters, starbucks, shaved sides haircut, selfie sticks, beanies.
Ugg boots: Some of them look pretty decent, and Caspar would probably wear the leather lace-up ones at some point (e.g. hiking, romping in the puddles, etc.), but the fur-lined ones are definitely too much. He’s a summer child from a fairly hot area, so fur is just never warranted.
Electric scooters: Not cool. He’d much rather ride a skateboard or hoverboard! (Catch him in the school hospital getting patched up for yet another skate/hoverboard-related injury. He was probably singlehandedly responsible for banning their use on campus. XD)
Starbucks: He’ll buy a drink or two with friends, but sports, health and (occasionally) caffeine drinks are much more his thing. He likes coffee a little better than tea, though–must associate them with Linhardt or something. I don’t think he’s really tried a sweet tea yet. Boy, you should go try some of the fruity Teavana drinks; they’re pretty good and more up your alley~
Shaved sides haircut: Pretty chill with them. Have you seen his war phase haircut? Unless shaved sides means all the way down. He likes having a full head of hair.
Selfie sticks: Adamantly refuses to use them. Consequently, half of his hastier selfies feature some odd nose angle or something. But Caspar is a much more in-your-face selfie taker anyways. Besides, if he really needs a longer reach, he can just get Linhardt to hold the phone XD
Beanies: Doesn’t really hate them per se, but they’re not really his style. He prefers baseball caps, if he’s wearing any hats at all. (On the fence whether he has as preference to flipped or forward bill–possibly the former.)
6. how technologically savvy are they? for example, do they know the parts of a computer, do they have a smartwatch, do they know what a browser is?
Caspar strikes me as a “young and hip” person more than a “clueless boomer” person. He knows how to use a computer (though he shouldn’t be trusted to build or fix one himself) and a browser. Most of the gadgets he owns can also help with his gym regimen. He comes from a wealthy family, so he definitely has a Samsung Galaxy Watch and a Note S10. (He rarely uses the pen on the Note, though–just to send stupid doodles to people occasionally. He’s just a touch above the stick-figure artist level.)
8. describe their closet.
It’s a stereotypical guy’s/bachelor’s(?) closet. Most clothes are hung–and the fancy/dress clothes are even ironed–but a good chunk of them are also laying in disorganized piles atop hampers that are supposed to be organized. It’s a system he knows and has gotten used to, but neat freaks would balk at the sight of it all.
14. favourite and least favourite thing about living on this era.
Favorite thing about modern AU: All the cool technology! Less of an ultimatum on “one oldest son gets all the inheritance”!
Least favorite thing: How de-emphasized “cutting your own path” by anything other than lots of schooling is. Caspar does not enjoy school, but even if he’s not the “favorite child” or inherit too much from his family, pressures are still such that he can’t just run off and get a vocational job.

Inigo is neither a terrible cook or a great one. He can follow the recipe and produce exactly what it says, but that’s about it. If he can help it, he leaves the cooking to Noire and Severa. Some would say he has unrefined tastebuds. Considering that most of his youth was spent eating dirt soup and military rations, he’s accustomed to eating whatever is thrown in front of him without too much complaint.
Food for him is mostly an afterthought. It’s either a way to impress a girl or to prevent headaches from not eating.
Now, if we’re talking about sweets, well, that’s a different story. Inigo adores pastries, specifically anything lemon or chocolate flavored
📖 + traveling performer au?
Ohhhhhhhh, like in a circus? Let’s go with circus.
-Born and raised amid the Feroxi performers; has like twenty aunts and uncles
-His favorites are Uncle Basilio and Aunt Flavia. They take turns as ringmaster every night
-Secretly adores Lon’qu the sword swallower and sneaks out to practice with him
-Has a mother-son duo routine with Olivia, who's the star acrobat
-Relies heavily on his charm/looks to earn them all a few extra coins. Makes sure to wink at all the ladies when he performs.
-Part of his solo routine is to give out flowers or shower the audience in petals
-Loves to compete with their rival circus troupe, the Shepards
-Once fell off the swing during practice and broke his leg. Couldn’t perform for almost a year
-Came back to the ring in an insanely dramatic entrance, complete with no less than three flower petal rains, a fencing routine, and even pulled a lady into the ring to dance with him
-Fiercely loyal to his family and loves everyone with his whole heart
