Regulate the Media
Media outlets should be unbiased. The extreme liberals online will pick through this and take out what they want, but this includes CNN (Completely Not News) MSNBC, & Fox News (Faux News), don’t think for a second any of them are less corrupt than the others. We need you to report the news, and that is all. Leave your opinions out of it, we want facts, we are fully functional human beings who can interpret the meaning of what you present to us on our own, don’t force feed us your opinions that we don’t care about to begin with. I want unbiased, regulated news, we deserve unbiased & regulated news outlets, not just on television, but all media, all media should be unbiased. Whatever happened to the FCC? Shouldn’t they be regulating communications? That is their primary purpose, at least so I thought. We absolutely need this, especially with this election upcoming, this should be everyone’s primary concern, which candidate is going to enforce media regulation, they can get away with slander, even though if one citizen in this country were to do that, it’s considered illegal, but a news station/media outlet, or what have you, can get away with just about anything, REGULATE THEM! Enforce the rules, we need the rules to be enforced, no exceptions.
Biased Reporters and Reporting
161002
Heard a reporter for a large newspaper (a Los Angeles newspaper I believe) blaming President Obama for the Congressional fiasco of allowing citizens of America to sue other countries. She had the nerve to blame the President because he was responsible for educating the Congress so that they could do the responsible thing. This is the state of American news. This is the state of unbiased news.
This reporter said that because he did not take the situation to the American public and explain how this would backfire on Americans the President was the one who had made the mistake. She said that it was the American people who should have been educated to the situation so that they could call their congress people. Makes you wonder why we even elect a congress to govern us.
Why did she just not say that the Congress of the United States is just too damn stupid to think things through for themselves. I am not a lawyer and the first time I heard of this bill before Congress I realized the potential consequences. That makes me smarted and more astute than 90%+ of the people who represent me in the Congress of the United States. (I am scared shitless.) Face it America, we have a congress that is only political. Common sense is non-existent in the hallowed halls of Congress. The Republican led congress boasts that it has the power to stop all of the executive branch in its tracks and not one soul took to the barricades in protest.
But, back to the reporter. Here is a reporter who is supposed to be impartial in reporting choosing to denigrate the African-American president because he had done his research. She fits in with the other Americans who are lazy and bigoted (these two attributes go together). That is the kind of reporters we have today presenting the news. This all transpired on the Diane Rehm Show on public radio on Friday the 30th of September.
It is truly a sad day when the unbiased objective reporters are in fact not so. They twist their words to inflame Americans to one cause or another. I want my news just like I want my coffee - unadulterated. I am an adult - I can take the truth and it shall make me free. Keep your opinions to yourself. If I want your opinions I shall politely ask for them. And they had better be backed by facts.
Have a great day - I am.
