Eight years. In one moment your life is being changed because your body has broken, and you need to be rebuilt. You thought you had your life figured out, but nothing turned out the way you planned. You have dark days, but there's always tomorrow. Your body heals in its own way and it's own time. You manage the side effects. You keep going. Healing is within you. Love and patience also help. With yourself and those in your life. Life is slower these days. But I'm grateful I still can walk the path I'm supposed to be on now.
