I would trust Elena Fisher with my life
I think it's human nature to care about people's opinion about yourself. However, we must learn not to please these opinions as a driver of how we should live our lives.
I don't know if it's just me but sometimes I feel like I want to run around outside with no care in the world or the people around. And today feels like that kind of day.
I feel a lot like Nathan Drake sometimes
Nate: /touches something/
Said something: /always crumbles and completely falls to shit/
Me: Same
Nate: /nearly falling to death over and over, barely getting up and laughing with enthusiasm/ Yep, I'm fine guys!! :D
Me: Same
I was trying to rank the Uncharted series from favourite to least and I realised that I have no least favourite. Best video game series of all time! 💟
Give some title for this ☜(ˆ▿ˆc)
58. You were going to tell me about those, right?
I have to admit one thing I really enjoy about browsing the Uncharted tag here on Tumblr is reading all of the freaked out posts from Uncharted newbies about the first time they come across the Descendents in Drake's Fortune. It's like a right of passage into the fandom. Once you've been royally freaked out by the Descendents then you're one of us but you have to cross that bridge on you're own. After that the Guardians and the 'Djinn' (or Nate's hallucinated flame demons) really aren't as much of a shock.
57. Linchpin
This is a sort of headcanon of mine. I believe that Elena is Nate's linchpin. After everything he's been through, all the tragedies he's bounced back from he's remained strong. Losing his parents didn't break him. Neither did living alone on the streets as a kid. He's lost people, people important to him and still he's sauntered on. Even losing Sully wasn't enough to break him completely. It was a heavy blow, weighty the first time and immense the second (although I might add here that I believe Nate's stronger reaction to Sully being shot in 3 over Sully been shot in 1 is that when Roman shot Sully that was Sully's fault, Roman wouldn't have been there if Sully hadn't owed him money and blabbed the details, but when Talbot 'shot' Sully that was Nate's fault for dragging Sully along on his crazy crusade) but still it was only enough to put a dent in Nate's armor, weaken his chain a bit. But if Elena were to die, especially if that death was his fault, I believe that would be the thing to break him, to send him over the edge to a place of desperation where he becomes almost unrecognizable. She is his biggest pressure point. She is his linchpin.
