(Altain)Galra prince Keith au where
Keith was hidden away on earth by his uncle kolivan when he was 4 earth years old. He meets shiro after his 5th adoption and is the first friend Keith ever made. Keith, unable to remember who, remembers being told to hide his true appearance and never reveal it to anyone decides to share his secret with shiro. Shiro is excited and loves his newly discovered Alien of a best friend. The two spend hours lamenting on who and what his species is, and why he's here and not with them. Everything is the same after that, what with the garrison program and all that, but with the added drive from shiro and Keith to find Keith's people. Que Kerberos and shiro being captured and discovering the horrors that these are Keith's people. These people who torture and watch others die for fun. It's no wonder that whoever it was that brought Keith to earth they didn't want him to end up like his people.
So everything resumes as is till we reach the BOM. Shiro and Keith's relationship has grown to more then friends by then. But then the others find out from kolivan that Keith is the missing galra prince. Que everyone flipping the fuck out wile shiro is reviewing something on the data pad with chaos around him, when:
"SHIRO!!!"(L)
"Hmm?"(S)
"WERE YOU NOT LISTENING!!"(L)
"Hm?"(S)
"KEITHS A FREAKING GALRA!!!"(L)
*shiro, distracted and uninterested*
"Oh no Keith's galra"
Chaos immediately stops. Shiro finally comes back to reality at the sudden lack of noise and looks up to see everyone staring at him with mouths wide open. It takes him a moment to catch up with everything that was said and when he does he goes all nervous like. Looking between the blade, Keith, and everyone else repetitively, before dramatically exclaiming:
"Oh my god Keith! Your a galra??!!"
Trying and failing at pretending to be surprised. Keith just burries his head in his hands as everyone still stares agaped. Pidge narrows her eyes and stares him down.
"You knew this whole time didn't you." It wasn't a question but a stone cold fact. Shiro's shoulders slump and he looks down ashamed.
"...yeah...yeah I did..."
"DUDE WHY DIDNT YOU TELL US!!"(L)
And so chaos ensues once more and shiro may or may not blow his top and drag Keith of somewhere private to cool down together. Thus a plan to overthrow the emperor begins!
