What about a dad!gwil blurb where baby Sammy is only a few months old, and Lily is running around and dragging everyone (aka Allen) to come meet her baby brother bc she’s so excited, bless her
YES
“Uncle Allen!” Lily barrelled straight into Allen’s legs as the man entered the hallway, followed by Gwilym. Both men laughed and Allen reached down to pick up his niece in one arm, the other laden with presents.
“Hey LiliPad,” Allen beamed and Gwilym took the boxes from his arms so that Allen could hug Lily properly, dropping a kiss to the top of her head. “Where’s your sister?” He asked and Jess giggled from the floor.
“Al!” She grinned at him. Allen beamed down at her, scooping the other young girl up into his arms so he was holding both of his nieces.
“Where’s Mummy, hey?” He asked.
“In bed!”
“Y/N still hasn’t fully recovered,” Gwilym said quietly to Allen and he nodded, regret painted across his face.
“Sorry,” Gwilym shook his head.
“She’s better than she was,”
“Uncle Allen guess what!” Lily giggled, wanting the attention of her favourite uncle back on her.
“What?” Allen gasped in return.
“I have a brother!” Allen gasped again, his eyes widening.
“You do?” Lily giggled and nodded, wiggling out of Allen’s arms but holding onto his hand. Gwilym carefully took Jess from his arms and Lily dragged him upstairs.
“Lily remember to be quiet when you go in!” Gwilym called after her but it seemed a lost cause as the two of them disappeared upstairs. “What are we going to do with your sister, hey Tiger?” Gwilym sighed down at Jess, an affectionate smile on his face.
“Love you Daddy,” Jess said instead and Gwilym’s heart melted as he kissed his daughter’s forehead.
“Love you too.”
When he entered into his bedroom, his whole face softened as he saw his wife sat up in bed, Lily curled up next to her and Allen sat on the mattress next to them, his son in his arms.
“Baby number three’s cute,” Allen mentioned and Lily scowled.
“But I’m your favourite?” She asked, though it was less of a question and more of an insistence.
“I love you all equally, LiliPad.” Allen grinned and Lily pouted.
“His name’s Sam,” Y/N whispered, her voice was hoarse and exhausted. Sam’s birth had been particularly strenuous on her and she had almost not made it. Gwilym set Jess on the bed and the toddler crawled over to Y/N to cuddle into her stomach.
“My Sammy,” Lily declared, resting her head on Allen’s arm to stare down at her brother.
The adults smiled at the two young girls and their brother.
My 75 year old coworker went to Home Goods looking for a mug big enough to hold a decent amount of coffee. The only one he found that was the right size reads, “Just let me drink my coffee and wear my tiara.” It was the right size, so he bought it and uses it proudly here at the office. I just adore him.
These were all so cute I couldn't pick just one.
not sure why I wasn’t in between aj and finn hugging, but whatever.
hurtful.
