The Nutcracker: Herr Drosselmeier —Aesthetic
Prologue
It's Christmas Eve in a small, Germany town of the 1820s. In the town square, the mysterious Herr Drosselmeier presents a performance in his Children’s Street Theatre. After that, he then hurries off to the Stahlbaum’s Christmas party with his gifts.
Drosselmeier is a skilled toy and clock maker. In some versions, he's an inventor and magician. Drosselmeier is eccentric, but kind-hearted. He's often the godfather of Clara and Fritz or their uncle. Additionally, Drosselmeier is secretly a wizard, and or, the official Ratcatcher for the King and Queen. But his actions led to his nephew being cursed into the Nutcracker.
