Barbie in a Mermaid Tale —Aesthetic

Movie Description

Barbie stars as Merliah, a teenage surfer who learns a shocking secret about her identity: she's a mermaid! Now, she and her dolphin friend must set out on an undersea adventure to rescue her mother, the queen of Oceana.

Barbie as the Island Princess: Princess Ro —Aesthetic

Princess Rosella

At the end of the film, Ro discovers her true identity as a princess. Specifically, she's the Crown Princess of the Kingdom of Paladia. Since Ro is the sole heir to her country, Antonio may be expected to advocate his throne as Crown Prince of Apollonia and have his triplet sisters run the land instead. This would politically makes sense as his sisters are direct royal heirs. However, if what the horse was saying about Queen Marissa traveling with the duke and dutchess of her kingdom to be true, then Ro could still become the Princess Consort to Antonio's country if she advocates her throne. This way, the Duke and Dutchess of Paladia could take over the kingdom instead with their three sons. However, this scenario is unlikely due to the political hierarchy complications of the royal court.

Infinity Nikki: Pick Your Dream Stage, Bubble Rush Event

During the event, two stage styles will be available, but only Bubble Rush will be presented in this article. Stylists can head to the Music Space to earn Heartstrings by collecting Drift Stars while taking part in activities. Infusing Heartstrings into either stage style converts them into supports for that specific stage style. The two stage styles will compete across phases. After each phase, the Sea of Stars Stage will switch to the stage style with the highest supports.

Voting 1: Bubble [lost].

Voting 2: Ice Cream [won].

Voting 3: Melody [lost].

Bubble Rush Gate

This gate is neon blue and pastel purple. It's designed with an arch of shooting stars and glass shard pillars. On either side of the door are blue spheres, which are meant to resemble bubbles. Lastly, there are neon blue lights positioned on the floor.

Heartbeat Zone

Location: This stage is located on a blue beach with a deep starry sky. Floating bubbles, flying blue sea creatures, the aurora borealis, and various shooting stars dance in the air. In the center is a stage created by large piano keys creating the stairs below it in the structure above it.

Purpose: After entering the area, you'll 'float through the air' and earn Heartstrings by touching Drift Stars. Some stars can also grant a brief speed boost or summon more Drift Stars.

Description: The journey feels as light as a bubble, drifting into the distance and toward all the unknowns ahead.

Momo's Dance Camp: Bubbles

As the light melody rises and falls with the dance, Nikki will take the stage first beneath a sky full of shimmering bubbles and demonstrate the order of the dance directions. Guide Momo to perform the moves in the same directions to score points! Keep up with the beat and aim for the highest score!

Rest Zone

Earn a small amount of Heartstrings over time. Playing with the Bom-Bom Bubble Machine or resting in a Viewing Chair grants Hearstrings continuously. Using the Lighting Console to change the stage lights for the first time each day also grants a small amount of Heartstrings.

After all the fun and excitement, it's nice to take a short break, watch the colorful bubbles drift by, and admire the dazzling stage lights.

Infinity Nikki: Pick Your Dream Stage, Firework Fantasy Event

During the event, two stage styles wil be available, but only Firework Fantasy will be featured in this article. Firework Fantasy Gate

This gate is a neon pink and dark purple portal. It's designed in an arch of squiggles and glitter with pillars of explosions. The explosions branch off into their own knee on songs on either side of the door. Speakers are placed on either side of the portal along with pink lights.

Heartbeat Zone

Location: This stage is a pink beach with a purple sky. There are cassette tapes in the water, shifting CDs in the air, and large drums placed about to bounce on. Fireworks are constantly bursting into the sky. The stage in the center has two very large, circular, booming speakers on either side of it.

Purpose: Use the Bouncy Drums in the area to leap into the air and collect Radiant Stars to earn Heartstrings.

Description: The Journey feels as dazzling as bursting fireworks, rising into the starry sky in a briliant blaze of light and sound.

Momo's Dance Camp: Fireworks

As fireworks light up the night sky, the puylsing beat is ready to erupt! Beneath the dazzling fireworks, Nikki will take the stage first and demonstrate the order of the dance directions. Guide Momo to perform the moves in the same directions to score points! Keep up with the beat and aim for the highest score!

Rest Zone

Earn a small but steady amount of Heartstrings by igniting Blazing Firecrackers or resting in Viewing Chairs grants Heartstrings continuously. Ignite Firework Sticks for the first time each day or using the Lighting Console to change the stage lights also grants a small amount of Heartstrings.

After all the fun and excitement, its nice to take a short break, watch the fireworks burst in all their brilliance, and admire the dazzling stage lights.

Infinity Nikki: Every Moment, Countless Journeys Event

When paths cross amidst the Sea of Stars, will the brilliant memories of our journeys spark a song of miracles the moment we meet? During the event, stylists can complete the exclusive quest to earn generous rewards.

There's a summer concert going on in The Sea of Stars! All players, also known as other Nikki's from other timelines and alternate dimensions, are invited to attend! The show features the main Nikki dressed as a jellyfish fairy acting as a pop star!

Cheering

Here, my avatar Nikki is dressed for the Bubble Stage. The color is blue. Key motives include bubbles and fish. In the crowd of the large main stage, are all the gifties players have collected over the seasons. Avatars can pull out blue and pink glow sticks to wave around as they cheer.

Ice Cream

During this event, there's large amounts of voting. Depending on the stage players want to support, they'll either vote for subjects from the Bubble Stage or the Fireworks Stage. One of the topics players were expected to vote on was Meat Skewers from the Fireworks Stage or Ice Cream from the Bubble Stage. Ice Cream won!

Barbie as the Island Princess: Prince Antonio & Princess Rosella's Wedding —Aesthetic

When We Have Love

Trumpets sound on the day of the new wedding. Sagi, Azul, and Tika act as the flower girl or ringbear to lead Ro out of the greenhouse. Meanwhile, Marissa walks her daughter down the aisle to give her away. Ro is in a wedding gown and a gold tiara, symbolizing her princess status. There are island roses everywhere to decorate the ceremony. The royal family's wedding is the union of the year. Later, the couple ride in a carriage to a ship, with the animals and royal family members riding behind them. Ro is glad she has seen the real world and human society around her. Due to this, she has found her family and understands her purpose in life. Now, the newlyweds' concerns are behind them, and they're eager for new adventures. They've learned chances are worth taking because something good can come from it, especially if their circle of family can grow. Ro and Antonio finally board the ship with the trio of animals. They then set sail for their honeymoon as everyone waves them goodbye.

Barbie Mariposa: Waterwhirls —Aesthetic

Underwater Realm

The Waterwhirls is a location in Flutterfield, another distant magical realm parallel to Fairytopia. It's an underwater realm where two mermaid sisters, Coral and Anemone, live. This is also where the sleeping merbabies and an underwater beast reside. To access it, one must eat some enchanted fruits growing by the water bank, which enable non aquatic creatures to breathe underwater temporarily. Then, dive into a wide opening leading down to the underwater realm.

Barbie Fairytopia: Mermaidia, Crystal Cove —Aesthetic

Mermaid Cove

Crystal Cove is an ocean in the magical world of Fairytopia. It's located near the Magic Meadow shores. Tropical lands surround the cove, it's accompanied by several cascades of waterfalls spilling into the crystal clear water below. There are multiple small islands with white sand and rock formations in the water. These allow merfolk to relax on them and enjoy the sun above water. Other animals, such as a turtle named Tutu, hang out there as well. Because firebirds hate water, they refuse to fly down anywhere near the cove, unless they're directly chasing something around the vicinity. This is why the place is considered mostly safe for merpeople. Magical seaweed grows in the cove's reefs. The terrible tasting seaweed lets non-merfolk to breathe underwater.

Barbie as the Island Princess: Marissa —Aesthetic

Queen Marissa's Character & Personality

Marissa is the Queen of Paladia. She lost her husband in a shipwreck while her daughter, Rosella, was stranded on an island. Thus, Marissa attends royal events with the Duke and Dutchess of her kingdom, who have three sons. The couple are likely her sister/in-law or brother/in-law. Marissa is a kind, gentle, soft-spoken, and graceful woman. She's especially loving towards animals and knows a lot about them as she's able to help a bird with it's injury. It's implied Marissa is able to talk to animals, or she's quite knowledgeable of animal behavior to understand what they need. She's also a talented singer. Marissa loves to sing lullabies, specifically, a song she wrote for her daughter.

Barbie as the Island Princess: Ro's Ball —Aesthetic

The Royal Engagement Ball

King Peter has thrown a royal ball to announce his son's betrothal. Thus, the party is meant to celebrate Prince Antonio and Princess Luciana's engagement. The entire kingdom is there to congratulate the couple, but Ro is anxious to attend her first high-class social gathering. She ends up dressed in appropriate attire for the event, while still having a design and color which reflects herself. Ro is able to steal people's breath away with her look, while impressing others with how well she dances.

Barbie as the Island Princess: Ro's Greenhouse —Aesthetic

The Royal Greenhouse

On the palace grounds, there's a gazebo, the stables, a well located nearby it, and a large greenhouse. Because Ro isn't accustomed to civilization, she insists on living in the greenhouse with her animal family. There, she sleeps in the trees and tends to the plants. These include the Island Roses found in the South Seas. Ro also eats the food growing there, like the green figs, to avoid eating formal table meals with the other royals.

Barbie as the Island Princess: Luciana —Aesthetic

Princess Luciana's Character & Personality

Luciana is the princess of an unknown neighboring kingdom. She's the daughter of Queen Ariana and an unidentified, older, late king. Luciana is also the owner of an orange pet cat named Pearl. She's "beautiful, talented and from an impeccable royal family". Luciana is a polite, devoted, kind, gentle, and helpful person. She'll even go against her mother to do what's right. Thus, Luciana is honest and will stand up for others against her guardian's deceitful actions. Not being very adventures, she prefers the comfort of home. Although Luciana is fairly intelligent, she's more book-smart than street-smart. This makes her subceptible to manipulation, though she's capable of speaking up for herself, even if she has to obey her mother in the end. Luciana is highly creative. She loves watercolor painting, singing, opera, writing, and playing the harp. Luciana especially love's reading books and poetry, specifically those of the romance genre. Due to this, she's a romantic at heart to a point she can visually tell when someone is in love with another. More than anything, Luciana dreams of falling in love with someone who loves her for her.

Barbie as the Island Princess: Ariana —Aesthetic

Queen Ariana's Character & Personality

Ariana was born into an aristocratic or noble family. When her parents plotted to kill the king and queen of Apollonia, they lost their land and were banished to a pig farm. Ariana later wed the oldest king known alive. Three days after their union, the man died of a heart attack but they managed to conceive their daughter before his death.

Thus, Ariana is the queen of an unknown neighboring kingdom and the mother of Luciana. She comes across as a sophisticated and enthusiastic woman who's also serious about her role as a royal. Behind closed doors, Ariana is wicked, pushy, vain, selfish, and strict. She has never loved anyone in her life, including her daughter and late husband, only viewing them as tools for gain. This is because Ariana believes status and wealth is the only thing that will guarantee a good life. As such, she's ungrateful for what she receives, complaining about how a massive room isn't big enough for her.

She's also quite judgmental towards those who are different. Ariana can be passive-aggressive, making snide comments towards someone while being well-mannered. She enjoys singing, dancing, and luxury. Ariana hates pigs, being dirty, or her daughter thinking instead of making herself look prettier.

More than anything, Ariana is vindictive and deceptive. She's holds a grudge against King Peter for ruining her life when she was a toddler, and plans to use his head for croquet. Due to this, she's patient when it comes to executing her plans. Ariana has no problem manipulating humans and animals alike. She doesn't care about what other people want, dominating others and using poison to achieve her goals.

Barbie as the Island Princess: Tallulah —Aesthetic

Tallulah's Character & Personality

Tallulah is a monkey from in South Seas. She lived on the island with her unknown brother before being shipped to the kingdom of Apollonia. Now, she's the noblewoman pet of Queen Danielle. Tallulah is prissy, sassy, well-mannered, and quite friendly. She's especially eager to help others in need, even if she's quite opinionated and argumentative in the process. Being civilized, Tallulah doesn't want to eat anything without a knife and fork. In addition, she has a sense of style with a respect for what's traditional and currently fashionable in the given time. As such, Tallulah's preferences for dressing are "dress, tight, less, bright, yes, white". She enjoys climbing trees, swinging from trees, talking, tea parties, singing, dancing, and balls. Tallulah also likes tea, figs, and jewelery.

Infinity Nikki: Playful Season Event Cherubic Moments

Stylists can complete World Quests in "Playful Adventures" and Random Quests in "Playful Chatter" to bask in carefree, childlike delight. Completing the quests will let one earn rewards. It's important to note these were limited time events.

My Florist Sheep Friend

The florist sheep were adorned in blue crochet blankets with yellow flowers on it. Meanwhile, other sheep were holding out fishing rod lanterns. Both animals seemed to be prepared for nighttime activities. This was fitting as the main quest involved saving a little boy prince from a sleeping curse.

Grown-Up's Tea Party

Under the wooden pergola is a table and two chairs. Floral wreaths and balloons decorate it along with the blooming flowers. It's a cozy little spot to enjoy some tea and finger foods with a friend.

Big Changes in Stoneville

Many new and exciting things have popped up in Stoneville for their spring festival. In addition, some magical things have appeared unbeknownst to the villagers. A real fairy can't control her powers yet and needs a bit of guidance.

Tracking the Sky Dust

Three portals have suddenly appeared across Stoneville. They're filled with sky dust that allows people to float through them if entered. Surprisingly, these magical occurrences are caused by abnormal flowers blooming, connecting the vortexes together.

When We've All Grown Up

Beside one of these portals seems to be another mishap with a spell gone wrong. Wagons, logs, barrels, and haybales are floating in the air! A yellow, glittery magic haze surrounds the area to keep things in place.

Dreamvale Tales: Fairy Lalabelle & Magic Bottle

This chicken is actually a bubbly apprentice fairy named Lulukko. The stone buddy is a loyal companion and friend to Lulukko named Pappetto. He later helps Nikki navigate the dreamscape maze.

Barbie as the Princess & the Pauper: Wolfie —Aesthetic

Wolfie's Character & Personality

Wolfie is a calico cat who's the pet of Erika. Since her parents were too poor to afford a breeder, he's most likely a stray she decided to take in. Wolfie later becomes the mate of Serafina and the father of their "many, many kittens." Despite being a cat, he exhibits extensive dog-like behavior. Wolfie barks, growls, pants, fetches, digs, chases things, and has the sense of smell akin to a bloodhound. He's a kind, caring, and loyal animal. Wolfie enjoys fetching sticks, popping bubbles, playing with butterflies, Erika's singing, helping his owner, and protecting others. However, he's insecure about not being able to act like a normal feline. Luckily, Wolfie's owner tells him how much she loves her unique cat as he is. Likewise, he should embrace himself for who he is. As a result, Wolfie becomes more confident in himself and proves to be a naturally brave cat. He has no problem standing up for someone who's being bullied or even coming to the rescue when others are in danger.
