my 4 year old neighbor that i babysit who is absolutely ADORABLE and the littlest of my bunch of gremlins (affectionate, obviously, because i am their god and they are my little nuggets of joy) has started calling my dad “uncle”

now imagine:
toph has her children lin and suyin
she brings then to visit zuko a lot
like a lot a lot
so much so that izumi lin and suyin are all besties
suyin is still the youngest about three or four when she starts coming out of her shell and being less shy
she was a little scared of zuko at first (and zuko was secretly very upset about this because children being scared of him is a fear of his and he hates that its his best friends kid) but soon enough she grows to love him
and instead of calling him sifu zuko or firelord zuko or sparky (toph keeps this bad boy going for a loooooong time) like lin does
suyin runs up to him one day as toph and her and lin arrive for a visit and clutches his robes and says “UNCLE ZUKO!!”
and boy oh boy does zuko cry like a baby
