the affairs of the syndicate is a sensitive topic, one jude handles with utmost discretion. it's not only good for his career to keep both separate, but it also works in the syndicate's favour when they gather information that might benefit them in the long run. even if they aren't part of the high ranks of people who decide on these strategies, it's impossible not to wonder and try to do their best in helping their cause. so, when they happen to be in the same sector and see the familiar face on the streets, they cannot help but approach him. "shiro! hello —" while somewhat awkward, jude pushes through it to ask. "are you free for a bit? the weather has been calm, hasn't it?" they mean the syndicate, which they haven't heard from for the last couple of days.

a rap of their knuckles against the door that's ajar, popping their head inside to see if shiro is in his office. when rei spots the familiar face, they take a tentative step inside. "harada-san, do you have some time to discuss a... somewhat private topic?" they wince once it leaves their mouth, realizing how poorly that sounds. "nothing- bad, just a project i wanted to discuss with you..." this is borderline painful, and they try to distract themselves from that fact by focusing on how brilliant the idea will be if it works out. "would be great if... obaasan did not know about it."

The moth was staring at the rations. They weren't sure what food it was suppose to resemble, it smelled like a multivitamin but something....highly manufactured. Mo attempted to eat a polite bote before coughing at the repulsive chalky aftertaste. Mo looked up at the stranger with a shy look. "These rations....taste pretty vile." Mo said rubbing their neck. "Sorry for my dramatics."

` Gabriella crossed one leg over the other with idle grace, the soft rustle of designer fabric barely audible over the city noise. She sipped her coffee—Iced, vanilla cold foam—while scrolling aimlessly through her communicator, feigning disinterest in the world around her. And yet, her eyes lifted—just briefly—as someone passed too close. A flash of questionable fabric, or maybe it was the way they carried themselves. Her gaze lingered a second too long, then flicked away like they'd never caught her attention at all. She murmured, mostly to herself but not quite under her breath: “Some things really do survive the apocalypse… bad taste apparently being one of them.” A slight smirk tugged at her lips. She went back to scrolling, but didn’t put her sunglasses on. Just in case the city decided to entertain her.
