The orgon rituals..
On constitutional government.
There are uncodified constitutional governments, which exist by tradition and precedent, and then there are explicit constitutional governments. My problem is with explicit constitutional governments, when the state's existence and functions are prescribed by law. The problem with explicit Constitutions, like the US constitution, is the arbitrary nature thereof, the many interpretations, and the fiat claim of authority. The last point being most obvious.
Whereas a government with an uncodified constitution must respond to the entire body of law that exists and political precedent, states with explicit written constitutions merely need to interpret some general claims on a parchment. The concept of consent stops being a question, and is taken as a fact.
This whole reasoning goes in line with the belief that common law is superior to civil law.
