Attempting to pick this back up to finish it. I'll give it one last try and then will permanently move on. Last night I finished another book that plagued me, The Underground Railroad. I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Glad I'm done. Cora was a tenacious fighter, but I wasn't impressed. I wanted and needed more. Books about slavery are my jam so, I require a lot.
