He represented the Sin of Gluttony in his (admittedly not quite properly named) AU - as he is the only survivor of his now-dead timeline, he retains these abilities if only because no one had contested the role before it's collapse. The ectobody scarring is from a fight he had with the AU Gaster (Severinus, Sin of Greed) just before the AU's collapse - Under the ecto, his ribs on that side are cracked with one rib barely being held together.
The Light form (left) is his more-used form now, and Dark form (right) is used for combat or when his emotions reach a boiling point (a rare thing). He has much more control over himself than he did when he first appeared in the white void post-AU collapse, and has since become a Guardian for the Naian Doodlesphere (the Doodlesphere that holds Sparky's AU of UnderCharged as well as adjacent AUs + others unmentioned here).
His work as it is now requires him to hop timelines, and often it leads to him chasing Lyor around as the latter enjoys creating mischief and the former is trying to prevent it!
Hi again, I'm alive for the day! have the AU Grillby, Adeline (Adene).
Not much has changed about her aside from appearance, but for a refresher:
She's head of the Royal Guard in within UnderCharged (With Syreen - Undyne - taking on a more minor role to reflect the change), and is built up with the intent to have a sort of sibling dynamic between her, Sparky and his brother Toasty (the AU Papyrus who also happens to be Second-in-command!). As she is a Red Charge, she primarily works with Pyrokinesis (Something expected for a Flame Elemental of some form like her).
Aside from this info, she's mostly what you may expect of a Grillby otherwise. She's mostly quiet with a bit of exception, and cares deeply for the souls around her in a way that feels either stoic physically or maybe a bit stiff at worst. The most vocal you hear her get is around Sparky and Toasty or her biological family members (family reunions/get-togethers are quite the roaring flame of a crowd! heheh).
Hey guys! I’m alive again - just been busy with other stuff in the last... er. while, and may be for a while longer. There’s gonna be some changes to the way the main UnderCharged timeline works in present tense - A lot of the stuff that previously influenced the words and actions of some of the characters aren’t quite present anymore or even something that they would remember, either (Stuff like the influence of the Omega Timeline, for example). This decision was made for a combination of reasons (My mental health, among other things; Don’t ask why or how that’s relevant, it’s a long story).
To lighten the mood of the post, here’s the Charged Squad for the first time in a while! And this time, it’s four of them instead of three - I’ve desperately needed to update Orfeo, Sparky’s fell counterpart for a LONG time and I finally got to the point where I feel satisfied with the change!
Rahmi, particularly is now Nonbinary as they should have been beforehand - I’ve been feeling increasingly uncomfortable with the way I’ve drawn them before this over the past couple years and figured they needed a visual refresh of sorts. Their current look is based on a particularly early concept shown below:
This art, done somewhere between 2016 and 2017 was something I highly considered using and then decided against for a while as I wanted to make Rahmi stand out among the crowd of AU designs at the time.
New sans, new sans! Who is this guy, you might ask (or might not)?
His name is Borealis, and he’s a Timeline Traveller (Kind of like TK!Sans, as an example). A good chunk of his traveling experience is in the pursuit of Magical Knowledge, and one of the resulting places he eventually found himself in was the UnderCharged AU (hence his art being posted here instead of on my main blog). He’s a bit of a nerd, and has a hell of a collection of books stored in a Tower that now sits in a timeline that’s not even his home AU!
He has a brother who is a rival for one of the guardians (Lyor, who I haven’t posted here yet), and he has a pair of mothers (Both of them are Gasters from separate timelines, so he may not have a particular home AU to speak of anyway. oops?)!
I do hope you guys like him!

(Yes, Bori and Sparky are a thing - This was established in a friend’s server and I’m rolling with it C:)
Oh and Sparky’s adopted multiple characters in this one timeline. Why? Because WHY NOT. He retains his dad instincts from previous events but doesn’t remember any of it (In the previous timeline, he had two kids canonically, hence the mention)!

Bori was originally created to ship with Sparky specifically as I’ve wanted to pair Sparky with another character again for a while, but had a hard time settling on how to go about that until a friend or two mentioned the idea of creating one instead (I wouldn’t normally do this, but they helped me with the creation process through and through!) - From there, I built up what brought him to meet Sparky in the first place and then how they got together! (You’ll find out the details later, this is already getting to be pretty lengthy lol)
