Hey Haze, I’ve been thinking about you Underchrome AU and was wondering, is there a Gaster? If so, what would his nickname be? My moneys in Silver!

Oooh! Good question! Hmm I never really thought about his nickname since he’s one of the Gasters who died during an experiment rather than just get scattered to the Void.

Still, a nickname would be good. While I do like Silver, I’m kinda leaning more toward Cobalt since I think it sounds cool haha

Oh no! He’s actually dead?! Haze why!? QAQ. Where’s Chrome and Nickle, they need snuggles now! I had no idea, I’m gonna start seeing this two in a whole new light now.

Yes, unfortunately. Rather than fall into the Core, he made a miscalculation with an experiment of his that proved deadly.

It was really hard on both Chrome and Nickel. The timing was awful since it happened after Chrome found out about his soulmate being not of his world. So, to him, it was like he lost two important people. All he had left was Nickel which is why he was so despondent during the Underchrome chapter since he had thought he lost Nickel for good too.

I wasn’t expecting a specific chapter to be requested, but I don’t mind doing the underchrome chapter since it was pretty long lol

☼: how i came up with the ideaI created that AU because I wanted Gli-chan to visit an AU that she and my readers were unfamiliar with. The whole concept came to be cause I’m a sucker for soulmate AUs lol The whole crazy forest idea was actually something I originally came up to happen with the Gaster Brothers when she comes back to visit them. However, I changed my mind and made it for Chrome instead. I just thought the whole “the forest is alive and dangerous” would be an interesting idea to write haha☄: what the writing process was like

Like all my other chapters. Once I have my idea, I start writing and just let my hands go to town lol

It took me awhile to finally decide what I wanted to do for an AU and what to name it lol☾: how i thought people would respond to the ficI was nervous that not many people would like the chapter since it’s a new AU they’ve never heard of as compared to all the popular ones they know and love. ☽: how people *actually* respondedMuch to my surprise, that was probably one of the most chapters of the fic. I think I got more comments on that chapter than any other one not to mention all the Chrome fanart lol I was not expecting everyone to like the chapter that much, but it made me really happy ^^∞: something i wish i’d done differentlyNothing really comes to mind. I sometimes wonder what it would’ve been like if I had included Nickel in that chapter since I felt bad about not including him.★: something i’m proud to have accomplished

Creating an AU that people actually enjoyed reading about. I was hoping some readers would like it, but I wasn’t expecting so much positive feedback. I’m really glad I decided to create Underchrome ^-^
