Where would I be if not for His grace. -- Life has a way of teaching you that you're truly nothing without the grace of God. Doesn't matter how much scripture you know and how deeply you desire to be a "good" Christian. You will fall. Sometimes you will succumb to the pressures of life. You will lose your cool. You will say and do things that make your soul cringe. Rather than beat yourself up about your imperfections, let it be a reminder that we're made perfect in Christ. Let it be a constant reminder that it's truly not by our own might and that we can do nothing of our own. Falling short gives us a reality check--an appreciation for mercy and an understanding of others who struggle with issues we "think" we've overcome. Holy living is a marathon and not a sprint. We only hope to make positive strides in this journey to eternal life. It's by Grace that we've been saved. #UnderConstructionChristian #perfectlyimperfect #WhenGodGivesYouARealityCheck 😔 -- “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT
