I think people in London do not realize how efficient their underground system is. When I was in London some teens missed their metro and they screamed “OH MY GOD NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT 8 MINUTES” I was like sweetie...When you miss your metro or bus in Antwerp your lucky if it is there in 25 minutes and they are always always late and they break down a lot and they don’t announce it anywhere when they  will arrive.

I’ve been thinking about underground London more than usual recently (if that’s possible), and this is a great doc about not just the tube but all the other undergroundy places - the Cabinet War Rooms, the sewers, the wartime tube shelters etc. Slightly dramatic styleee but extra bonus is that it’s narrated by the lovely Sam West.
