He didn’t have time to be tired, not that he really was anyhow. The male was something that he rarely is, grateful. A blind man could see that he didn’t deserve another chance with Svea. With his selective luck, that was really running very thin, he was bestowed another chance. Detaching from the scrunity of their current events, he strides into the lobby of the Plaza. There’s a personal agenda consisting of: checking in, freshening up, picking up her gift and attempting to not fuck up the night. By the time he’s done with the first order of business, he finds himself ascending to his floor in the lavish elevator. Reluctantly, he pulls out his phone and the debate continues. Should he text her now or just wait until he sees her? Assurance would be good for her, but he could easily dispel her minimal expectation for him, by actually showing up. This was a battle between pride and humility, but he had to do what was right. Once again, he did find a way to argue valid parts of the situation. With the parting of the doors and entrance to his floor, he makes his decision upon a sigh. Dialing her number he decides to call, perhaps she won’t answer — which won’t be all that bad, right?
