Meryl's weather forecast turned speech of protest is so overlooked

"If a butterfly beats its wings in Brazil, could that create a hurricane in Texas?"

This is a question that is tied to the concept of the Butterfly Effect, asked by a meteorologist and mathematician named Edward Lorenz. E153 of MHA is of the same name, as this concept ties very well into the story. And how fitting is it for this metaphor to be used by one of the most underrated characters, who ALSO happens to be a weather forecaster, Meryl Hope. Yes, her surname is Hope, which I only found out today, but I just love it cos it's so fitting! We didn't see much, but I bet her protest brought ordinary American citizens so much hope and courage to stand up with her against her government.

She first begins by talking about the weather, but then slowly spirals into metaphor, first by asking this question. Wondering if the emergence of Quirks really did doom the world. Rhetorical, of course - encouraging her viewers to think and form an opinion of their own.

This ordinary lady, Meryl, on LIVE TV, displayed a sign that read "NO AFO", which actively opposed her government's cowardly decision to side with All for One. Her colleagues try to shut her down cos they're scared of the consequences of speaking out. Not so characteristic of a 'free' country, huh? She was brave and bold, a hero in her own right. It's one thing to possess that kind of courage, and a whole other thing to use it to act. Because keep in mind, millions of Americans would've been watching her that very moment. One person would've been inspired by her and created their own form of protest, which would've inspired even MORE people. I wouldn't be surprised if it got the entire country rallying 😅

But yes, her display emphasises the power that ordinary people have in times of conflict, and how important it is to stand up against injustice, regardless of where you live - after all, if "one person has the power to change the world", imagine how much power a massive group of people, united by one cause, could have. Cos even tho the war was happening in Japan, its effects were felt all over the world, namely the atmospheric currents. Conflict affects everyone EVERYWHERE, and as humans, it's our duty to care. In a fearless public display that's quite relevant to today, Meryl did just that, and it makes her just as much of a hero as those who wear costumes. It plays into MHA's theme of 'anyone can be a hero' beautifully - these small acts of rebellion matter just as much to the world as capturing a big villain does.

Some iris x dahlia stuff I have, dahlias has a nightmare the event from the toy shop in the first book place out but this time however, it’s where she accidentally kill iris by slabbing her with her needles, a another nightmare is where near the end of the book, dahlias use her red rope to save iris and larkspur but like the toy shop, the red rope snap in half, which let iris and larkspur falling to their death, dahila woke up form a nightmare and iris hug her, she knows dahlia wouldn’t hurt her, and yeah i just draw both iris and dahlia holding hand, it’s possible that dahlia maybe like iris,
