Michelle Paver is such an underrated author!
Sometimes I get sad that Izzy from the Guild Hunter series probably won’t get his own book. He is such a sweet character and I desperately want to see how he will turn out. I also want to see how his relationship will progress with Talu. I adored the snippet we got of them in the short story Fairy Balloons on Singh’s webpage. Like, they were so sweet. Also can we even imagine how badass he will be in the fututre? Like, cmon he is going to be protecting Elena, which means Raphael is overseeing his training, he is trained by Galen personally. He will be interracting with THE SEVEN basically all his life. WE NEED MORE IZZY CONTENT PLEASE MISS SINGH
I feel like there are just some authors that should get more attention. And by some authors I mean Drew Hayes. Please for the love of an entity check out his books.
Okay, so I just finished Lord of The Abyss by Nalini Singh, and oh my gods. This is it this is the post, I’m simping. Also the irony, that I wanted to post my sad poems and some of my writing here but ended up just simping over Nalini, when I promised myself I won’t is just plain hilarious.
“It is not hard to live through a day, if you can live through a moment. What creates despair is the imagination, which pretends there is a future, and insists on predicting millions of moments, thousands of days, and so drains you that you cannot live the moment at hand. ("A Father's Story")” ― Andre Dubus, Selected Stories
