Hey folks, this is the original sketch that eventually became Center of the Sun, the most energetic and epic battle theme in my original soundtrack for @underspacegame​.

It’s amazing how tame and simple the original sketch sounds compared to the final product.

Underspace - Fhedden Overture (Original Game Soundtrack by Eric Britt)

The Underspace soundtrack is nearly complete, and Fhedden is among the final works that’s been written for the original game score. Fhedden is home to the mass grave of an unknown species, terrifying blackholes hide in various Fhedden nebulas, and the whole place is heavily radioactive.

Fhedden Overture fits like a puzzle piece with the rest of the soundtrack, and evokes feelings of paranoia and adventure. The most distinct feature of the overture is the percussive clockwork beneath the piece, which was made by contemporarily used choirs and strings.

Underspace Soundtrack - The Trader Prince

I decided to record a run through of the protagonist’s theme in my soundtrack for @underspacegame. The project itself doesn’t have an orderly score, so the main window will do. 

You can tell it’s from Underspace because the main theme is sprinkled in as a leitmotif, it follows the form and structure of other tracks, and, of course, toy instruments that play an iconic role in the soundtrack.

It’s absolutely crazy to me how much progress I’ve made since I first started on the soundtrack over a year ago. I never would’ve imagined writing something on this scale. At the very least, I can say that I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished.

Underspace - The Industrial Suite

Hey guys. The industrial suite is comprised of two leading themes in my soundtrack for @underspacegame. I interweave musical ideas from Revive (Main Theme) and Macrovari Overture, the music of an industrial society in the game, hence this suite’s name.

I’m really, really proud of this one.

Underspace - Revive (Original Game Soundtrack by Eric Britt)

In October I decided to overhaul the orchestration of our main theme. After months spent drafting several orchestrations, I’m proud to introduce Revive, the new main theme for Underspace. Revive contains the same melody you’d hum as the original, but in an entirely different setting. With the new palette of instruments, it is among the most distinct themes in the soundtrack.

This was my original piano sketch for the Macrovari Overture, part of the @underspacegame soundtrack. I initially got all my ideas down on three pianos. I later orchestrated it, with a music box leading the track.

This is the overture for Vauldwin in Underspace, the video game I’m scoring the music for. Vauldwin is a society ruled by precedent and bloodline, even if they’re an advanced intergalactic race. Elegance and proprietary is as vital to them as air and water.
