<<🪱 PROCESS 🪱>>

🪱 Simple sketch! Using the animate help function to allow me to see the layers all on one frame in different colors without needing to change my color of my pen. I sketched and laid each character in the spot that I felt fit! I’m not crazy good at hands or feet so most my braincells were trying to make those convincing.

🎨Color blocking characters! Using 3 layers I spaced out the color blocking so that if needed I could select one character on the layer instead of affecting others. All without needing a layer for each character. I blocked off the layers via 1 color group before going in and placing colors character by character.

☎️shading! Kept fairly simple as halftones and noise would add additional looks so I didn’t want to overwhelm the piece at all.

🫎 comic/ old anime look! Using halftones, noise, and bloom- I went through each layer and made them the level I wanted before combining all layers together! The lineart halftone was set differently though! Instead of full color it was on the print setting. Making the lineart slightly see through to match the color underneath. Making it mesh better I think!

Secrets of the Underground - pt 4

Mettatons Secret

Mettaton…King/Queen of the underground. Claimed war on the humans for killing the ones she fought to protect….but he hadn’t expected the humans to fall to all be children. But he knew what they would grow to be…killers.

When killed the soul follows around the body until separation. So as a final apology for their innocence lost…he knights, crowns, and dresses them as they wish. Bravery wanted to be a prince, so Mettaton made a paper crown fit for a king.
