Progress update on UNDERTALE: Dark World
After much debate, I have decided that there will be three chapters to Dark World. Meet the (familiar) bosses for Chapter 2: Mr. P. Astmon and N. Tenna!
I initially planned for two chapters to keep it simple, but after discussing it with a friend, I realized it was probably a good idea to add a chapter between 1 and 2. So far, these are the only actual bosses I have for the story. ^^’
Anyway. This also serves as my take on Spamton and Tenna in the Undertale timeline.
Undertale Dark World looks very cool, but I have one (1) problem with it which is that Berdly’s design looks very bland. I LOVE Berdly, so it’s important to me that he is done justice. I do like the detail of him squinting because he can’t see without glasses though. And as I said before, everything else you’ve got for the AU looks AMAZING. Looking forward to more updates!
I generally designed Berdly the way I did because this is a version of him that doesn’t stand out. Unlike Deltarune Berdly, this version of him doesn’t have “being smart” as a crutch for his relevancy. He still has the self-centered nature of the Berdly that we know, but his classmates only know his name as “Noelle’s study buddy” just from her saying “I gotta go. I’ve got a study session with Berdly”. In other words, he never became relevant in this world.
He will get more attention later in the story, though. I do have plans for him. :)
