Cool text I did about undertale and the true lab. Maybe is an essay? idk but here it is part 4
So yeah, I'm continuing my essay, read the other 3 I made to understand this
Flowey
Also, thanks to the Lab entries we find, we can figure out who Flowey is, the first monster we encounter, a menacing killer flower that wants to teach us how to fight enemies but wants to get our souls, just like every other monster in the underground. Since Asriel died in the flower bed with its dust getting to the flowers, and Alphys gave determination to it, Asriel revived. As a flower, it was scared and didn't know what happened, but it was a flower filled with hatred, with no love, just determination. But since we know he had the most determination in the underground, he could reset, save files, etc, like the player, so this gives us the idea of Flowey in this new body, that couldn't even be recognized by its own parents, and nobody remembering, led him to try a lot, to reset, try multiple endings, who it could have been kind, or a killer. We get aware of this because of his Omega Flowey fight, and dialogue from him in the genocide route. After we fight asriel dreemurr in the pacifist route, we can backtrack through the whole underground, and if we manage to go all the way to the flower bed at the beginning of the game, we find Asriel, who gives us interesting information if we keep interacting with him, not only from him but also about what really happened.
* Don't worry about me.
* Frisk, please leave me alone.
* I can't come back.
* I just can't, OK?
* I don't want to break their hearts all over again.
* It's better if they never see me.
* ... why are you still here?
* Are you trying to keep me company?
* Frisk...
* Hey.
* Let me ask you a question.
* Frisk...
* Why did you come here?
* Everyone knows the legend, right...?
* "Travellers who climb Mt. Ebott are said to disappear."
* Frisk.
* Why would you ever climb a mountain like that?
* Was it foolishness?
* Was it fate?
* Or was it...
* Because you...?
* Well.
* Only you know the answer, don't you...?
* I know why Chara climbed the mountain.
* It wasn't for a very happy reason.
* Frisk.
* I'll be honest with you.
* Chara hated humanity.
* Why they did, they never talked about it.
* But they felt very strongly about that.
* Frisk...
* You really ARE different from Chara
* In fact, though you have similar, uh, fashion choices...
* I don't know why I ever acted like you were the same person.
* Maybe...
* The truth is...
* Chara wasn't really the greatest person.
* While, Frisk...
* You're the type of friend I wish I always had.
* So maybe I was kind of projecting a
little bit.
* Let's be honest.
* I did some weird stuff as a flower.
* There's one last thing I feel like I should tell you.
* Frisk, when Chara and I combined our SOULs together...
* The control over our body was actually split between us.
* They were the one that picked up their own empty body.
* And then, when we got to the village...
* They were the one that wanted to...
* ... to use our full power.
* I was the one that resisted.
* And then, because of me, we...
* Well, that's why I ended up a flower.
* This whole time, I've blamed myself for that decision.
* That's why I adopted that horrible view of the world.
* "Kill or be killed."
* But now...
* After meeting you...
* Frisk, I don't regret that decision anymore.
* I did the right thing.
* If I killed those humans...
* We would have had to wage war against all of humanity.
* And in the end, everyone went free, right?
* I still feel kind of sad knowing how long it took...
* ... so maybe it wasn't a perfect decision.
* But you can't regret hard choices your whole life, right?
* Well, not that I have much of a life left.
* But that's besides the point.
* Frisk, thank you for listening to me.
* You should really go be with your friends now, OK?
* Oh, and, please...
* In the future, if you uh, see me...
* Don't think of it as me, OK?
* I just want you to remember me like this.
* Someone that was your friend for a little while.
* Oh, and Frisk...
* Be careful in the outside world, OK?
* Despite what everyone thinks, it's not as nice as it is here.
* There are a lot of Floweys out there.
* And not everything can be resolved by just being nice.
* Don't kill, and don't be killed, alright?
* That's the best you can strive for.
* Well, see you.
* Don't you have anything better to do?
Honestly, my favorite character is Flowey, maybe because of its bad, menacing personality, or the way it looks, but the most important thing, its story, and how important it is to the Undertale lore. Flowey may not have a soul, but it is not just a killing monster; it does have feelings. It was Asriel Dreemurr, the son of the royal family, and to then die because of the idea of his best friend, to get revived as a flower in the true lab, seems like a great story to me. Finally, my last thing to say is my favorite line from Flowey, in the pacifist route at the end, even after the credits, it appears a black screen appears, then Flowey appears before the game relaunches…
hi
Seems as if everyone is perfectly happy.
Monsters had returned to the surface.
Peace and Prosperity will run across the land.
Take a deep breath.
There’s nothing left to worry about.
…
Well.
There is one thing.
One last threat.
One being with the power to erase EVERYTHING…
Everything everyone’s worked so hard for.
...
You know who I’m talking about, don’t you?
That’s right.
I'm talking about YOU.
YOU still have the power to rest everything.
Toriel, Sans, Asgore, Alphys, Papyrus, Undyne…
If you so choose…
Everyone will be ripped from this timeline…
…and sent back before all this happened
Nobody will remember anything…
You’ll be able to do whatever you want.
…
That power.
I know that power.
That’s the power you were fighting to stop, wasn’t it?
The power I wanted to use.
But now, the idea of resetting everything…
I…
I don't think I could do it all again
Not after that
…
So, please.
Just let them go.
Let Frisk be happy.
Let Frisk live their life.
…
But.
If I can’t change your mind.
If you DO end up erasing everything…
…
You have to erase my memories, too.
…
I’m sorry.
You’ve probably heard this a hundred times already, haven’t you…?
Well, that's all.
See you later.
Yeah, that's the end of my essay. Thanks for reading. Maybe I will do a Flowey drawing
