It annoys me when I venture forth onto the world wide web to look for cute Sanster art and edits and whatnot only to see comments of "ew incest" "aren't they father and son" "Gaster created Sans tho" blah blah blah. I've even been approached about it in that pony game once or twice when sitting around on my Sanster Fanatic pony.
Like sorry but not really sorry at all actually: "they're related" is only a theory and not fucking canon. Especially as someone who only gives a shit about what's in the game itself (and my own AUs): they can be whatever the fuck you want them to be to each other.
Therefore the incessant cries of "incest!!!" are frankly fucking annoying, even to someone who doesn't give a shit about whether or not someone ships incest, because at the end of the day it may discourage people from shipping it, and fuck you I want more cute shippy science boyfriends art to stare at.
Your fanon isn't fucking canon. [AU of your choice] isn't fucking canon. See them as family all you want, but stop bitching if someone dares view them as otherwise.
