Encoded Prompts: Monday - Bewitched
So, I saw a list of prompts from someone I follow, from someone they follow. I have no idea who they are, and I’m sorry. If you know, tell me and I’ll link them... I guess? I have no idea, I’m still getting used to this site!
I think theirs were for their AU at least... but I don’t know it. When I saw the prompts though, I started thinking of stuff from my AU, so I decided to use them for my AU Encoded. It’s a multiverse thing.
I’m also experimenting with shading, brushes, etc, so... forgive me.

In the image, Ink isn't colorless or anything, his eyelight is silver because of the Purity Aura Jewel is emitting. It's actually a battle-themed aura, it increases stats, etc. But it's comforting to those pure of heart. Ink isn't the purest, but he's already got some other things going on. With Jewel, in conjunction with his paints, he believes he can truly feel. This is due to her being an empath and able to project feelings onto people if she tries. With Ink, however, he's an empty vessel craving anything it can. Having nothing there, it strangely echoes through him and his paints only amplify the feeling. She doesn't actually force any emotion on him, it's just that when he's with her, he's drawn to the feelings she automatically projects as an empath. So when he's close to her, he feels what she does. It's strange and he doesn't understand it yet. It's kind of like a drug to him at this point. She's usually pretty happy with him, so he feels happiness, warmth... he hasn't been with her when she projects sadness yet. When she has been around while upset, others have been there too, which kind of acts like a buffer since their souls overpower his lack of one. He can't feel as much with others there. It's why he treasures having her alone with him. As Error put it, "she's his fix" and he doesn't know how to deal with it yet. So, basically, Ink is "bewitched" between her emotions and aura. He knows it, but he doesn't intend to stop it, so far as to asking her to activate it when he's near so he can be inspired. They spend a lot of time together in the doodlesphere just drawing now that Error's more comfortable with her doing so. There's just so much there and Jewel's finally able to get her muse back. It's been a few hundred years since she's really gotten to draw more than just angst-emotion fueled things. So in a way, Jewel is bewitched by Ink as well. They're each other's muses.
