hey, i was wondering if you have some YA recs for me? i read pretty much all the good ones i could find over the past few months and now i don't know what to read. i'd say i've read most of the ~obvious ones, but, yeah, just, hit me with whatever you've got? thank you <3

idk what you’ve read so far, so i’ll just throw everything at you that i’ve read in the past year that was YA that i liked:

oh thank god. everything about it was terrible, but the relatioship made me feel so fucking uncomfortable. the one character raised so many red flags abusive behaviour wise. i just needed someone to share my hate with lmao

it probably was tbh. from a certain point on the fic seemed very rushed, maybe they couldn’t wait to hit people in the face with their brilliant idea lmao

yeah, i think during chapter 3 it started to lose its way, and then chapter 4 started and i sort of checked out and just skimmed through it, catching that part with lexa, anya and tequila and was like wtf is this?

it’s a shame, cause i remember this author from my skins days and was all excited to see she’d written for the 100, but now unfortunately i’m gonna be wary of her work lol

seriously, it was like the author changed their mind halfway through (and i think that genuinely might have been the case). so weird and rushed :/
