A combo of two quick pieces with my Monett. Sort’ve a Before and After.

Monett’s laughter rang out over the river as Casian gasped, eyes glued to her feet and the narrow railing they stepped stepped stepped along, dancing along with as much confidence as if she was on firm earth. Throwing a wide, toothy grin over his shoulder to match Sune’s bemused headshake she took two more backwards steps before twirling again, chuckling when Cas whined.

“Monie, please. Your mother wants you alive.”

“It’s fine, don’t worry.”

“He’s got a point, you know,” Sune interjected. “You just got the cast off, shouldn’t you at least pretend to slow down for a few days?”

“No.” Spinning to again face her closest friends, Monett leant forward purposefully, with no care to the way her balance wavered as she walked. “I am a Lady, I will not show weakness. We do not slow down.” This time she didn’t bother to turn back around, or even to look back the way she was going. She knew exactly how long this bridge was, she still had a ways to go. Instead she straightened, chin raised haughtily, while the others groaned and shook their heads.

“And I’m supposed to marry you,” Cas murmured, head falling into his hand, “if you manage to live that long.” As Monett just laughed again, Sune reached out to pat him on the shoulder.

“Good luck, buddy.”

“So, how many bones are you going to break before you’re done?” The healer was clearly more bemused than anything- as one eventually got when dealing with Monett- and so she saw no problem in flashing her a bright smile even as she lathered her arm with numbweed.

“At this point I’m going for all of them. Go big or go home.” With a sigh, the healer shook her head.

“You realize one of these days you’re going to be seriously injured,” she asked, “or possibly killed by your little stunts?” A little voice in her head countered that that was perfectly fine, and Monett widened her smile.

“Yeah, but what’s life without taking risks? Better to die young than live bored.” The look she received rankled something in her gut, a look of concern and a hint of pity. That wasn’t a look for her, that was a look she gave other people.

“You were out in the middle of the attack on the Holds, weren’t you?” Yeah, no. Not even. Not having that discussion. “Have you talked to a mindhealer about that?” Monett laughed, just the barest bit forced.

“In all these turns? It’s all handled, I promise.” She clearly didn’t believe her, not one bit, but Monett just continued to smile.

She was fine.

Your internet connection is being very slow if an infinity sign appears in the middle of your download. o: It does the same for me at times esp when it’s a big file and i’m like orz

I didn't think my internet was that slow holy shit.... But that could be it since there is no way the file is too big. It's only 80.46 MB and I've downloaded a 700.31 MB in under 10 minutes with no trouble at all

Good news is I just got a download that's not taking too long but still 1 hr is quite the wait for a 3 minute video.....
