"our flats are opposite each other and your kitchen window faces my kitchen so we always see each other making coffee at 3am’ au for Jonny/Seabs
mycrazycantbetaught said: Tazer/seabs for thewrongfully accused stalker one? :) which was “We met at a cafe and started flirting butwhen I left you started following me and I got creeped out and called you astalker but it turns out you just live in the same building this is so awkward”AU but i’m adjusting it a little and combining it with the above too.

There’s a hot guy in the cafe with the really good coffee and they’ve been making eye contact in the line. Then Brent laughs when the guy orders a ‘Venti’ and the guy looks behind him and shrugs, sheepishly. “Habit. Too much Starbucks in my life.”
“We don’t like to hear that,” the barista says, and the dude blushes a little, paying.
Brent gets to watch him from behind which is totally fine by him.
They don’t really talk as they wait for their drinks, Brent looking down at his phone and the guy just kind of people watching. Brent can’t think of anything to say, is the problem.
“See ya,” Brent says, when his order comes up, passing hot dude who’s at the coffee bar, putting the lactaid milk in his drink.
Brent doesn’t realize the guy is following him until he’s almost home. And, well, the dude might be hot and all but Brent doesn’t really do the cruising scene and he certainly doesn’t do the stalker scene and both could be happening here. He sighs internally (too bad this guy had to be a weirdo, he was so hot) and turns on his heel.
“Hey, man, I don’t know what your deal is but back off, eh?”
The guy’s eyes widen. “Uh. What are you talking about?”
“You, following me to my building,” Brent says, waving at it, off to the right of them.
The guys lips quirk. “Uh, I’m going here, man,” he says, waving to the building on the left.
“Oh,” Brent says, squeezing the back of his neck. “Uh, sorry.”
The guy laughs. “It’s alright. I’m Johnny,” he says, sticking out his hand.
Brent shakes it and offers his name in return. Johnny’s got deep eyes and a sweet smile and Brent accused him of being some stalker.
“Nice to meet you, Brent,” he says, and then he walks inside.
“Idiot,” Brent mutters to himself, turning to go inside himself. “Hot dude and you can’t even let him pretend to stalk you.”
Brent can’t sleep that night. When he finds himself in his kitchen making coffee he nearly jumps out of his skin when he sees his Not Stalker doing the same thing in his own kitchen.
Johnny looks up and Brent startles so hard he falls onto the floor.
When he gets back up Johnny is doubled over laughing. He’s also rumbled with sleep, his hair sticking up everywhere. Brent’s probably isn’t much better.
He waves to Brent and Brent waves back.
“Still not a stalker,” he tells Brent the next day when they both happen into the coffee shop again, this time before work.
“I dunno, you might have to convince me of that.”
That was totally flirting. Brent is well fucking aware he was flirting just then.
Johnny, unfortunately, doesn’t seem aware of that.
He just laughs and says, “See you around, man.”
Brent doesn’t know why he’d think he’d be single anyway.
He can sleep again hat night, which has everything to do with work bullshit and nothing to do with his mind on this guy that he can’t seem to stop thinking about.
He sees Johnny is up again too. It’s 3am, it’s kind of ridiculous this is happening.
Johnny waves again. Then opens his window.
Brent goes to open his, heart racing.
“How do I convince you?” Johnny asks, smile in his voice.
Brent grins. “You should probably just ask me out instead of showing up places I am.”
Johnny scoffs. “Please, you show up places I am.”
“Uh-huh, just make a plan, Johnny.”

Later, when people ask how the two of them met, Brent will just talk about how they’r both shit sleepers and that paid off for something, rather than the fact that he thought Johnny was a stalker.
