I’ve been in this fandom for 7+ years, and the later years have been filled with a lot of negativity. When I came to Tumblr back in 2010, there was a more positive environment - people actually enjoyed the time they spent on Tumblr, and people weren’t afraid to be open about their own opinions. Instead of ship wars and character hate there were respectful discussions, where you’d just agree to disagree. And I want to go back to that. Or at least bring some focus back on it. 

I know Discord is aimed at gamers, but we can use it for this too! It can be a place where you go to share your love for a ship, a character, promote yourself and your work - that being fanart, fanfics, gifs etc. Whatever it is! 

NSFW content is put under channels marked as such, and there will be channels to vent and discuss negative things as well - So if you don’t want that, you can just avoid the channels! 

Ships have their own channels, and there’s even voice chats, where you can chat with people if you’d like to! Spoilers will also be under marked channels, so there shouldn’t be a risk of running into it if people follow the rules. 

And the rules aren’t strict or anything - it’s mostly to ensure that it’s a safe and happy place for everyone, and a place where people can go to enjoy themselves. 

You can also take part in forming the server, suggesting new channels and improvements and such. 

I really, really hope people will join. And please signal boost this if you can?
