UnderTopia! Gillby

Grillby was the Royal Guard's Captain pre-dating Undyne. He retired once the monsters were sealed away into Mnt. Ebott, considering there was no use fighting anymore. Asgore stepped in until Undyne later filled the role. Now Grillby spends his days tending bar and grilling up good food! If one of his patrons gets a little too rowdy he has been know to step in as a bouncer.

In this universe, he's a little more stand-offish towards outsiders, not that they get too many of those, but he is extremely loyal to those whom he chooses to keep close to him. His establishment is closer to a nightclub setting than it is to his original friendly pub. It features many neon signs and a dimly lit room, the drinks are exotic, and the music loud. Sans is still a regular, as well as the canine guards and other monsters that are seen in his og bar.

Fun fact: When flustered or excited, his flames get brighter and more wild. Sometimes, a dusting of pink flushes across his fiery cheeks despite him not having the anatomy for it. They also tinge dark purple when he is upset.

Re-colored an old grillby drawing to test out some color/design ideas for my Undertopia Grillby! I really love the green and purple, but I'm not a fan of the outfit design. I like the purple pinstripes and gold bow, I wanna keep them, but the outfit itself is just too bland imo! Still, thoughts? I think he'll be fairly neutral as far as his opinion on the protagonist, if anything, a little dis-trusting and skeptical.

The UnderTopia Brothers

Meet UnderTopia papyrus! He looks serious here, but dont worry! He's still a sweet goofball that's obsessed with puzzles. He's just a little more on the mature side now. His puzzles pose more of a challenge, and instead of spaghetti, his favorite pasta dish is lasagna. (It's still awful) He is a member of the Royal Guard in this Universe.

I touched up Sans's colors a bit, mainly just his coat and eyes. I'd say his personality remains fairly similar to his Canon self. He's very active and is a master at parkour, but he still maintains a slightly lazy facade to the monsters around him. He's also incredibly sarcastic and tends to get grumpy when over exhausted. Sans’s condiment of choice is hot sauce. (Siracha specifically)

New AU idea!!

Just a lil something I came up with before bed a few nights ago, buuuut-

I'm naming it UnderTopia, and it'll follow the Canon UT timeline fairly closely (1 think, I'm not 100% sure yet Imao.) It's set in the near future, both the humans and monsters have advanced technologically, but their worlds have gone down different routes! Humanity has transformed into a CyberPrep society whereas Monsterkind has a CyberPunk environment.

l'll add more as I figure out the finer details, but for now, here is a rough mockup of my first re-design for the Monsters! Meet UnderTopia Sans :]]

He might get a new name eventually, but for now, it is just Sans.
