Final Fantasy X (Squaresoft - PS2 - 2001)
The Wreck of the Maria Doria 🌊🚢
The time it took me to complete this level just goes to prove it was an absolute beast and a real challenge. I loathed this level, absolutely despised it, it always kept me on edge with each room I entered and made me jump at every noise. It made me fear entering water and think twice about what to do. Yet I seemed to enjoy it, it was an interesting level all in all, the idea of it all being upside down was so cool and truly threw me off a lot. It's such an interesting design and concept for a level.
The level I feared the most has been beaten though, and fighting off two sharks and god knows how many barracudas is a thing in the past. At least I bloody hope so because that was terrifying and stressful to say the least.
I managed to find all the secrets in this one, which resulted in getting back the grenade launcheras! We also managed to acquire a new weapon! The M-16! I forgot to get it in one of the earlier levels so we've got it now, better late than never 😁
I know there's two more levels apart of the whole underwater lot and we have yet to find the Seraph the monk spoke of but, the Wreck of the Maria Doria has truly been beaten. When will these levels end? But I won't complain any longer, time to prepare ourselves for the Living Quarters and hope we can get to the bottom of this and find the Seraph 🤔
underwater levels/segments in video games give me so much anxiety... especially in dimly lit, older video games like Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Underwater levels in games always seem like a good idea but they never are
